SM messed up, Hanteo messed up or what's going on with aespa comeback sales?

  • I saw MY's criticizing SM yesterday

did SM really didn't produce many albums?

or did Hanteo got too much job with other artist releases that they couldn't sent all shipments right away?

  • This is every single comeback with SM at this point, should really wait a full week before evaluating their sales.

  • Shipping issue etc....

SM since merging with Kakao seems to have change their music distributor

their old music distributor was Dreamus a company SM created to distribute theiir music and had share in it, they had some issue but they were pretty reactive

But one of the deals Kakao had for SM is that their album will now be distribute by Kakao company and their company seems to have a lot of struggle in term of shipping etc...

same thing happened with NCT 127 last comeback and Taemin current album, it seems that there's a lot of issue in shipping etc... going on

and it seems that it's the same company distributing IVE album too, that's why IVE album always seems to have such a weak first day compare to their first week sales

  • oh so it's something in between

SM -> album distributor -> Hanteo

  • how can ive sell 60-70 percent of their total sales after the 1st day. sajaegie

  • SME switching to Kakao would have ZERO impact on fan's pre-ordering as Kakao would be manufacturing Albums based on those initial numbers.

HANTEO affiliates are known for reporting Sales when the Retailer hasn't recieved the Albums to ship however, HANTEO has with held sales reported from China until they are checked.

Oh interesting so first day sales is the real fans preorder and regardless of when the album is shipped hanteo will track at the time of release?

Generally it's the first week as Online Retailers "sell out" on the day of the Album release so they don't take any orders, while there isn't a huge amount of "Offline Sales" in comparison
