It hurts me to say it but to me it's their weakest album
I'm not a fan of trick or trick, the production isn't do very well for me
YOU is a cute song for fans, and i like it but i know i'll not replay it
I already knew YOLO and Hot air balloon from their concert, and they were my least favorite songs of the setlist, they are good to perform in a concert because they are light and fun to bring some energy from the fans but it's not the type of songs who can stand on their own
we already had better things as a special single, so i don't really understand why they put it here too considering that they had a special jewel case version for better things on the sm store
the only good thing about this album is that there's don't blink and i love this song, i was afraid that they never released it after seeing that it wasn't in the MY WORLD album

Disappointed in the album. Hot Air Balloon is atrocious. Aespa was my #1 K-pop group a year and a half ago and they are now outside of my top 5.
I feel like they and Stayc have gone opposite directions in terms of trajectory (they debuted 5 days apart). Stayc’s comebacks and music have gotten better and Aespa’s have decreased in quality. Just my subjective opinion.
I agree on weakest album, the vibes are a bit unmatched. They have a strong title like Drama BUT all the B sides are on the soft side
They should have put either Hot air balloon or YOLO to MY WORLD and swapped Im Unhappy / salty & sweet to this. This would be much better
Having said so, Drama, Dont blink and Trick or trick are good so overall still decent.

My first thought basically. That song has so much RV DNA in it.
Finally Don't Blink released, but yeah the album is weak, it's not coherent. I think they release this album just to release most songs that already recorded for they supposed to be 1st full album and performed in their concert.
Trick or Trick is nice, but somehow felt long for a song under 3 minutes (1st listen).

It doesn't feel as comprehensive as their previous releases, but I'll cut it some slack since it's just a mini album.
As I previously said, I was hoping for an R&B song from them. I think that's where they really shine. This release feels incomplete without it.
I'll still listen because songs have the tendency to grow on me, but none stick with me so far.

Agreed, I think most SM Artist actually excel in R&B, but somehow SM doesn't give them much.
I hope they bring Savage mini album song quality for their first Full Album.

The way until I meet you came after you and it makes more sense.
The album isn’t cohesive at all however the first 3 tracks are top tier.
Overall I enjoy it but it is far from the overall quality, consistency and cohesiveness of SAVAGE mini album.
My ranking after a few listens is as follows :
I love the first verse, the pre-choruses, the BRIDGE and the overall instrumental.
I'm disappointed by the 2nd verse, I think could have been way more hard hitting.
I don't really like the chorus, I find it pretty uninspired and repetitive. Reminds me of what I thought about Baddie's chorus (but this song didn't have amazing pre-choruses and bridge, great vocals and an interesting instrumental to save it).
2. TRICK OR TRICK
The chorus is not that good once again.
The verses are fine.
The pre-choruses are good and the BRIDGE is amazing.
After that epic bridge a super explosive last chorus could have been great I think but it was pretty tame imo.
It's vibey.
The chorus is nice. The post chorus instrumental is interesting.
