Clearly, their toxicity is so contagious
my block list is quite high, but that's because i reconigze i have a low tolerance and no patience for people like that, instead of letting them get to me..out of sight out of mind.

That's a way to avoid the fights. Tho it's more complicated on X since too many people are toxic.
Btw I'm sure you would block me on league of legends

I'm way older than you and I don't know how to drive
How old are you?
It’s okay, I’ll drive you around!!
Interesting technique but it's too late for me, I see wars and dramas everywhere

IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO CHANGE YOUR WAYS!!!
Walking is good for you!! I like hiking but too many bugs lol
well, red velvet brings back some nice memories and puts me in a good mood when i listen to them. so there's that.
my work out playlist is exclusively kpop and dance music (jungle and tech house these days). and physical health is mental health so that counts
but before I learned to stop caring about people's internet opinions, I would argue that it stressed me out a little bit. Now I couldn't even try to take it seriously
A lot of K-pop is really great for workouts. Even better when the message of the song is about empowermnet, which a whole lot of K-pop is. I would say that has a positive impact on mental health.
Just ignore the misery from hateful people, as they just want to drag others down with them. We'll be fine.
Absolutely has
I've mentioned more than a few times here how I was in a really dark slump back in 2019, and the angry, darker, harder music I was usually into was only feeding the dark thoughts, not helping.
Blackpink for me was the gateway group, not going to lie.
I literally tripped over kpop one day while just tooling around online and the high energy, polished and FUN of the music just lifted me more than I thought it would. Especially in the following weeks when I got into the non music side of it (but not yet the fandom stuff). Watching variety content of these girls who in their MV's came across as fierce, brash ass kickers be the cutest, silliest crackheads (as was the word around 2019) just brought a smile to my face constantly and really did lighten my mood and heart.
I found it at just the right time, because the next year Covid hit and like many people it was a struggle. Especially with some of Australias terrible ass lockdown rules which basically meant people living alone weren't allowed to have visitors or visit other people, even in private houses. This made loneliness and isolation issues really, really bad.
But getting deeper into kpop really did help through it. Being locked at home but being able to watch the various live streamed concerts available like the The Show and Dreamcatchers numerous ones was an amazing, happy way to get through a tough day. New release days when a group would have a show/live stream before the sons M/V dropped. Finding proper communities like group specific subreddits to share that happiness and energy during those events.
I've tempered my expectations a bit over how kpop can help my mental health since then, but it definitely, definitely did help drag me out of a bad time and get me through a very difficult few years.
Being in fandom and participating in a fandom has always been my outlet since I was like a teen so it’s been very many years now. And I don’t think I’ll ever stop participating in fandom.
Yes it keeps me sane. For every absurd fight I have in a fandom space that’s a crisis avoided in he real world 🤣🤣🤣
Anyway I love fandoms. Kpop is one of the many I’ve been part of over the years.

More walking means less sport for me
I'm the bugs favourite victim when I go hiking
