But not everyone obviously come from them, so how else do they have the coin though?
Are they business owners?
Do they sell kpop merch and albums?
Are they on some entrepreneur type stuff?

People have that perception bc while the richest chinese millionaire/billionaires can compete with those from western countries, the poorest chinese person is way, way poorer than those at the bottom in developed nations. And they outnumber them in population percentage by a huge margin too. Basically disparity of wealth is still a huge problem in china, and living conditions of people living in absolute poverty there are only on par with those in relatively “poorer” countries than china. I don’t think it’s fair to classify china as a rich country as a whole either. It only has more hoggers of wealth
There is a difference of course. I won’t compare China to other wealthy Western countries because they don’t have of a population of 1 billion+ people.
Of course China has wealth inequality - it always had it throughout 2,000+ year of history but this doesn’t change the fact that overall, there are more wealthy, rich, and well off Chinese citizens today compared to 20 years or so ago etc. Just Google Chinese cities and see how developed the country has become compared to its own past. With the second highest GDP in the world, I consider it a rich country.
Also wealth inequality exists literally everywhere. Like how much more any CEO makes compared to the lowest worker? Are we not witnessing mass demonstration and protests by workers across the world because of this very issue?
You will always have the richest vs the poorest and any country with a larger population will have more of a bigger gap.

Hmmm Ok fine OP didn’t say China was poor. But the fact remains that there are questions re Chinese fans and how they got rich when other fans aren’t as rich.
How do any person in any country get rich? It’s all the same. The only thing different re rich Chinese fans is that there are more of them by sheer numbers and they group up to do their projects.
In the KPOP fans universe - rich CBars do crazy purchase but is it only the Chinese fans or is it just media covering specific instances? I think rich KPOP fans elsewhere have been making crazy purchase too but it doesn’t get out into the media like the Chinese fans’ activities. Like rich ARMY have purchased lux cars before too but not for protesting but self use lol. I think it is a behavior thing and being rich just enables it.

iirc correctly last year aespa cbars bought 600k albums. i don't think anyone does it like them. they are really rich
