Whoever decided on the live band for NewJeans’ Lollapalooza performance made a great decision.
You already know how I feel about Blackpink’s legendary concerts and Coachella stages. The Band Six did an amazing job with the live renditions of these songs.
I’m really happy NewJeans got a live band instead of the usual backing track. It really adds to the ambiance and hypes up the crowd!
and they didn’t go all out with making rock tracks where they weren’t rock tracks. Things tasted bouncy and poppy and it was still super dynamic

Live bands make all performances sound like a real concert, not a Karaoke event. Some tours cant have them i get it, it's expensive and when you're new and touring small theaters, you cant afford it. But for the big venues and bigger acts, a live band is a MUST.

The Band Six was YGE’s secret weapon ever since BIGBANG.
You should know I love aespa and I thought they did well at their Coachella performance. However, SM did them a disservice by not including a live band. The girls had to work way harder as a result.
With a live band, the performers’ job becomes much easier and they can just focus on having fun. It’s easier for them to go with the flow that way.
All K-pop groups deserve a live band if they perform at these bigger stages.
Live bands really make everything better and I'm glad more groups are picking up on it.
