Let's be honest Jyp has no idea what they're doing with their artists. Got7 members had few solo works when they were in the group right? Like I knew who Jackson was even before I knew what got7 is. Same with Mark and jinyoung. Jyp stopped giving/letting their artists solo promos after they learned their lesson with Suzy from miss A. Twice always had group promos than solos. Never had seen one member getting brand deals and stuff. I thought the same will happen with Skz but looks like after 5 long years they thought why don't they try letting Hyunjin shine once since he's getting massive popularity these days. It's like their artists are lab animals and they're testing the water using different tactics to promote them. This is what I feel like jyp is doing in my perspective.
