What did you expect from Stray Kids when they debuted?

I think out of all other BGs (apart from BTS) I am closest to stanning Stray Kids.

Do keep up with them to a degree and like the guys.

Not a fan of all their music, but they have great bops and I do love their social awareness.

If you want recommentation for their Variety Content (ok, you didn't answer yet, but I'm giving just in case), I indicate watching their 'Howl in Harmony' show.

It's a show of a few episodes where they are divided in units and have to create a song from zero together. But the song can't match the other unit's ideas. Each unit built the narrative of their song's lyrics and wrote together. They thought about the production, the concept, the genres, even called the directors and gave the ideas they want to their songs for the construction of the MV. It was how 'Red Lights', 'Gone Away' and 'Surfin" were created. It's so interesting and original! I think you'd enjoy.

I know SKZ since 2 years only.

But when I saw them for the first time I expected them to be much more popular than they where at that time.

hmm let me think. when they debuted, i thought jyp was doing their own Ikon when it had BI. Also, ikon was modelled after bigbang. So it did feel like the first artist group from jyp. I am not surprised with what they have achieved because jyp is a competent company unlike yg. This is just my opinion don't come after me lol.

Tbh when i heard Hellevator my instincts told me that they were made for international markets more than korean and there's 98% chance they'll become a very successful artist in the future even if not immediately after debut. So i knew this day will come where they'll sell out domes and arenas and hopefully in the future more stadiums. I did expect this success they have now worldwide. I hope korea also starts to notice how talented they are cz they deserve it.
