They can debut at mid level and improve.

niziu actually did it the best, they added ayaka as a visual(mostly for korea), and could barely hold the beat when the show concluded, and was slowly increased singing lines over the first 2 years as she improved, now she get regulars singing lines
or XG with hinata getting like 0 real lines in the first 2 songs, until she was better with english
