    I think people are forgetting Hybe is just a parent company lol The labels are the ones doing the hard jobs. so NJs and LSRF are safe because they're still the sole acts to their respective labels, so as these new GGs.

    Changed the title of the thread from “Hybe to debut their next girl group through a survival show starting June 30” to “Hybe to debut their next girl group through a survival show starting June 30, Sooyoung as MC”.

    Idk if it makes sense to say "HYBE" is oversaturating itself since the groups are from different sub companies. But I guess since they benefit from being viewed as a single brand (putting all their MVs under Hybe's channel, having people think of the groups as Hybe groups not Source Music or be:lift lab groups), then they also have to take the consequence of people thinking they have too many groups.


    It doesn't really matter to me that they have too many groups, but I just don't like the styles of their concepts that they use in multiple groups.


    Back to the show.

    Although I won't watch the show. On one hand, I think the format of the different rounds sounds fun. But on the other hand, I feel like rating artists' performances on "creativity" and "expressiveness" is right in line with their concept philosophy which I dislike. (they succeed at being impressive which is correct due to the pressure they are under, as a huge company, but they might feel too perfected to the point where it interferes with evoking emotions)
