Do you think Le sserafim is still underrated?

They have 4 songs in the melon top 100/Daily

sold 1.5m albums. Their fandom isn't as big Idle, Aespa, & Ive in Korea/china but literally anywhere else they slay. People underrate them simply because they're comparing their Korean achievements.

imo they are doing fine. Someone else here mentioned Hybe wanted a top girl group in Japan, so they went and tried to poach the 3 most popular members of Izone in Japan, based on fansign and album numbers. They got 2 out of 3. On top of that they got another Japanese member. Twice took about 5 years to really blow up in Japan, they are likely to do so earlier. Everything else for them is a bonus.

On the minus side, Source Music manages them. I still remember their first Japanese promotion. The highlight was a truck with a sign, and I think they might have gone on one music program. That was it. Then there was one promotion where they seemed to promote their dogs more than the members.

Peaking at #2 on Melon and 2M streams on Spotify is not underrated.

More talented than Gfriend is debatable. Both groups have their assets but have you heard Yuju sing ? Kazuha being a better dancer than SinB is also debatable.

Le Sserafim is a top group for me. They have a great future ahead of them.

Boy group stan here, and tbh I don't think so but I do think they could be under appreciated maybe not underrated you know? (I mean well, it's just what I think)

Source was losing money keeping Gfriend.

They weren't profitable, plus being 3rd gen but making no waves like twice & BP. They would have never brought in the amount of money LSFM is about to bring once they start touring. All them hits yet they're still forgettable. Aint no one talking about them in Korea.

HYBE is putting a lot into LSFM because the gains will outweigh the loss. Gfriend wasn't global, LSFM is.

They're fans are delusional if they thought otherwise.

1 tier lower than AESPA and G IDLE

2 tier below than top GG IVE and Newjeans
