This is very true. He's just a liar. I don't believed any of Yg's words from the very beginning. He made this bait to gain more fan of Baemon. I think some YG fans are very naive. I'm surprised some people believe in his word. No one believes here, but most youtube comments believe that there are 5 people line' up. I guess some of the Baemon fans were kids probably so they didn't understand from the very beginning that there would be 7 people.
He just went with it, because he expected people to complain about eliminations, which would create more hype. That’s usually the case if you announce a line up and after that announce not all of them are making it.

it was obvious from the beginning if you know yg and his pre-debut/survival shows. he just did it to create more buzz and drama + he wouldn't make them debut as 5 since fans were already parasocially invested in ot7. as we all know people love drama and i guess some people believed it because those 2 + haram actually rarely appeared in their tiktok videos especially rora compared to the other members. i'd say fan favorites are ahyeon and chiquita

The truth is yge was trying to delay the debut as much as he could because he was scared of the reponse since we've so many ggs reigning over kpop rn. Reponse was good so he debuted them, if it wasn't good he'd have eliminated all of them and started a new team.
