Stealing spotlight from big groups , i swear success fans like you are really setting up this girls
Top gg like Ive, lesserafim , aespa are all charting in the top 5
While Fifty fifty is in the top 20-30
And there's no buzz around them in korea
So i doubt they are taking the spotlight of anybody
obviously talking about Spotify and Billboard

? I think it's more a case of 'how can groups that are not Big 4 and not Produce draw the attention of the general public and k-pop fans?'
You can't hate, dislike or neglect something that you don't even know exists
Aside from that, the amount of hatred that Sistar got was a minor thing compared with the massive amount of hatred that some other 2nd gen groups got, I mean we're talking the midst of the 2nd gen 2NE1-SNSD fandom wars and the T-ARA scandal. It only became a bit more when Sistar started to get the title '#1 digital queens' and a number of Blackjacks/YG stans didn't like that.
But even then, Blackjacks didn't really felt like hating Sistar or fighting Sistar's fans for it - it was too much of a distraction from the neverending, passionate hate wars and feuds they had going with Sone and that they actually were excited about
But how much more attention do they need? Fiftyfifty is doing well on Billboard while the big4 groups stay local in Korea.
On the other side a big4company get milions of followers, selling hundreds of thousands of albums with a simple message that they have a new group, while the fans know nothing about that group, their music or members.
This looks a liddle sus.

They're just a classic example of a "one hit wonder"---an artist/group that was relatively unknown and of humble beginnings who dropped a surprise hit song, and is receiving a lot of attention while that song was a hit, but will probably revert back to their original popularity once the hype for the hit dies down. It's been a thing since the dawn of the music industry.

This is what a lot of ifans are secretly wishing. They want Fifty Fifty to "know their place" basically. If a visual boy group or a big company group was doing unexpectedly well internationally, the hype would have been huge. There would be a constantly updated achievement thread, a bunch of threads about the members, etc.

Give them space. They're yet to do comeback after Cupid and you're already call them one hit wonder.

? In what way do you mean 'sus'?
As for the big4company getting millions of followers, selling hundreds of thousands of albums, that's easy, that's because of company stans and track record: people enjoyed that company's previous groups, their music and style, and they have hopes that they will like a new group and music from that same company too.
It's not any different different from other brand sympathy: why do people keep buying next version iPhones blindly, or why do so many more people go to whatever Marvel is being released next compared with a superhero movie of another company? It's because they liked what they experienced before from that brand.

yes, thats what this topic is about. and what i allready said in a previous post.
kopfans have a completly different mindset if it comes to check out smaller groups.
a few companies have basicly a monopol on easy success because most fans are to lazy to check out anything else.
