Depends on the fandom really.. I find orbits tolerant towards criticism. I notice orbits I follow don’t get “called out” for disliking songs or discussing members lack of talents. The opposite are blinks they will have a meltdown if anything remotely resemble criticism are thrown the girls way. Example: I really hope jisoo will act well in the drama. blinks/solo stans: you fake ot4 you never had faith in her you the ones calling her stiff talentless in the beginning. jisoo has no one in this fandom!! ( based on true story)

LMFAO OMG this is a heavy question. Hits a little too close to home but no, that should never be the case. It just means you’re not a blind follower of said artist and are level headed if there’s certain things you want to criticize or call out.
Of course, the reactions on this website though... as if you’re committing a sin and your fan status needs to be revoked.
End of the day, you don’t need validation from anyone or their fandom. You do you!

Bish I'm in all of those too, just that I don't exactly seem like I'm with the flock among the 3 fanbase here. Because I feel if I say anything negative about them, people here will instantly revoke my fan status
I literally have the stats to back up my stan status but I'm sure people will still call me a fake fan if I ever say anything negative and say I'm token stanning them

It's perfectly fine to point out flaws and issues with a group even if you're a huge fan. Love and support should never be blind. I'm sure there are plenty of people who will call you a fake fan, but that's an issue for them and not you. You'll get a lot of "how dare you throw them under the bus" but that is only applicable if you full on drag them.

imho no! everyone have the right to criticize as fans with good intentions and being realistic, it all depends in how they do it, sometimes someone pretends to be fans and start pointing flaws with malice intent we all can see that, but it's not the fans fault that sometimes there are too many antis? anyways in the end of the day it all comes to the way you point and criticize then you can tell the difference between a fan and a troll
