What BP Coachella headlining set means for K-pop future

Pinkchella actually proves that BP is very charismatic and have crazy stage presence. They know how to interact with their audiences

BP fans are starting to give off strong BTS fan vibes, and for once I'm not just comparing how obnoxious they both are. Because yes, tell us all about how you're "paving the way" for Kpop as a whole with opportunities that only one particular group will be offered, conveniently ignoring the fact that anyone else wanting similar opportunities will have to go out and earn them on their own, with no thanks to Blackpink.

Speaking of not paving the way, I don't know who will be performing at the Super Bowl in 2028, but it won't be Blackpink, who will have disbanded long before that. Kpop & football go together like rice & ketchup.

in Kpop the success of a group usually goes to the heads of the fans not the idols. I feel like idols are more reasonable and down to earth about the fame they are achieving than fans.

For the general public? It is niche. For the music industry it is big. I was specifically responding to them saying they could headline the Super Bowl next. That is not possible currently. But yeah not many people like Coachella in America or know who the artists who play there are.

Most of the artists who perform at Coachella are small names most people have never even heard of. People know what Coachella is, but it's really not that big of a deal unless you're part of a certain sub-culture. It's like the music equivalent of Burning Man.
