I Hate That You HAVE To Come From The BIG 4 To Be Recognized For Your Music...

  • lol sorry man but what other nugu or even mid tier label group gets these as ROOKIE DORMS? Hell these are the nicest rookie dorms i've ever seen including the ones from Big 4 companies like Twice and BP.

Either Kakao privilege exists or Izone was so unbelievably successful that WY/YJ's Izone earnings helped to pay for this 2.5 million dollar luxury condo =O=O=O .

Do you think they would make Wonyoung live in a cheap condo when she is one of Starship's most successful artists? That would make no sense. Ive is literally the only Starship group that debuted with a fancy apt., and it's not even as fancy as you say it is. Literally only two bedrooms for 6 members.

  • Although considered as outliers, BTS happened. So far away from the Big 3. No privilege. They were the Big 3's punching bag for negativities. Kpoppies belittled, discredited, undermined and did everything possible to make sure they didn't amount to anything. They were ignored by media and TV variety shows.

Despite this, bangers like Jump, Danger Fire, Dope, I need you, Cyphers 1-4, House of Cards, Young Forever, Spring Day and of course Blood Sweat and Tears, to name a few, happened. Then, they went full speed ahead for world recognition and later on, world domination. People loved their music and they gained a a big following because of their great music and outstanding stage performances along with their great personalities.

So, No. You DO NOT HAVE TO COME from the Big 4, as they call it now, to be recognized. These groups need to bring out good music that people can relate to.

Do they have to be as big as BTS? Not at all. Consistent good music will bring them casual listeners they may be able to convert as fans. And that's how it starts.

  • It was never about their music cmon now lol. It was more about their lyrics/subject matter and their devotion to their fanbase and online presence, ESPECIALLY outside Korea which was rare at the time (2013-2016).

Lyricism is part of their music. The songs I noted brought more and more followers. The lyrics, the beat, the melody. They are part of music. It’s BTS music.

Music is arguably subjective. You can argue with millions of BTS followers. What you consider good music, I may consider as trash. It’s subjective. To each his/her own.

  • if a tree falls in a forest and nobody is around, does it make a sound?

if a nugu group creates a really good song but nobody listens to it, is it still a good song?

  • The Boyz is under IST which is under Kakao and according to many idiots in this forum, has Kakao privilege

    ;judgingpepe:;judgingpepe:

And according to this logic, this privilege is bigger than any other company privilege that exist in the industry because kakaoooooooo

Can't wait for Kakao to acquire SM so my faves can have big3, big4 and kakao privileges.

Other kpop groups better hide ;judgingpepe:
