It would be great if Peak Time took judges from groups that were once underdogs

  • You're so full of shit and would find anyway to drag BTS because what the fuck are you saying in bold? SNSD worked their way up with 75K sales their first year when BTS even sold WAY LESS their first year? Actually BTS sold less then whoever ghost9 and bae173 sold in their first year. BTS are the PERFECT example of ACTUAL UNDERDOGS to GLOBAL SUPERSTARS and you think mentioning them is laughable as judges for this irrelevant ass show? If you didn't mention BTS (because I use the search button on allkpop to know what I missed on them) I would not have a clue this show even existed and carried on ignoring but you couldn't help yourself as a bitter leftover. And then I had to reread OP to even see WHERE they mentioned BLACKPINK and they did not proving you wanted more of an excuse to drag BTS when OP mentioned Mamamoo, another example of underdogs but you don't hate them enough to dismiss them like BTS.

You have a lot of nerve quoting me when you gatekeep and harass people. I need to explain NOTHING to someone like YOU

  • My jay park example as a judge wasnt where he came from but how a scandal had them force him out of 2pm and he was sent back to the united states. He had to actually start from scratch and work his way back into korea created his own label and is where he is today. It has nothing to do with his popularity but if u look at the big picture he knows what it feels like in that sense. I thank you for further explaining the Highlight situation.

    As for "others":

The fact I posted sales was not bragging about anything I was simply saying all these groups worked hard since debut and all of them faced their own struggles.

The reason I said bts being judges is laughable is not because I'm dragging them but because I do not think their personalities would be a good fit for this show. They are so far advanced it would be hard for others to really relate to them at this point. If gatekeeping army wants to throw a hissy fit over that. That's their problem. Learn to handle criticism.

I know full well what nugu means I stan a shit ton of them, I've watched so many disband and even stan a group who's been on hiatus for 2 years for no reason at all. No need to think I don't know shit.

I also think the people reacting to my posts is enough that some agree with me. I am really not going to keep explaining things to deaf ears who don't want to try to understand the points that were being made.

  • I agree that personality wise BTS would not be a good match. They seem to be too humble to feel like that they are in a position to judge others (even though they are) or hurt the feelings of these idols who are going through a hard time. They already know what it feels like. BTS are in the best position to give advice on how to succeed and how to deal with doubt, obstacles, and being under pressure. They really gave great advice to the Iland competitors.

That's a good point. They are quite humble and I feel like they would have a hard time giving criticism where needed because I'm sure they'd want everyone to make it and succeed. Which is why I don't feel they'd be a good fit. It was never a drag. It's laughable in the sense that they would probably just hit their button to pass everyone. I have no ill feelings towards BTS at all it was the group that got me into KPOP.
