I find it interesting how they only matched NewJeans' Spotify streams on the week NewJeans missed the Billboard 100 with Ditto, but ended up at least 5 positions above them for the week Newjeans outpaced them by over 1 million streams. JYP's radio deals really pad out a lot of their chart performance.

And you think it's the same now? Times have changed. US is Twice's biggest market now along with Japan. Moonlight Sunrise ended up being their biggest debut on the US Spotify Weekly chart. Cope and seethe.
And even if it was bc of radio how is that any different than the playlisting NewJeans are getting

At this point People come up with random baseless statement to put down Twice they literally had near 0 points in radio and jype don't have any sort of deal or strategy to push them.
They got charted due to streams and sales .The Feels had 4.8 million stream which made 62% of their points and 10k sales which made up rest of the 38%. The Feel had 3.5+ million plus streams in YouTube US which made up Spotify streams.

Now moonlight sunrise have about 5 million streams (Spotify+ YouTube) 6.7k+ sales.
Fans are responsible for their charting, even without remix they would charted, remix have only 1k sales few thousand streams.
With better promotion they could easily charted in top 70 or 60.
Even talk that talk got into bubbling under hot 100 (#116) from streams alone it missed hot 100 due to lack of sales had only 1k sales

Downloads were weighted more than and onces managed to do like 11k downloads then, thanks to JYP rushing out remixes to save it.
MS wasn’t on track to chart at all until JYP discounted the song and rushed out the remixes a couple days after this time too. 😓
Like The Feels it will probably flop and fall off after one week after the fandom is done trying to make it look like a hit artificially .
