how can you say stray kids and new jeans are similar in popularity. They are totally different groups popularity wise.
Skz is a mostly fandom driven group while new jeans being a new group are mostly depending upon gp and are still developing loyal fanbase.
These same arguments were used for BP in 2019 and look at them now. It takes time to develop a loyal fanbase. And gp in US doesn't care about any kpop group. Its just among some kpop fanbase, groups gain popularity.

Have you been to korea to say GP does not know them? I literally heard their different songs in random places in seoul and busan when I was there.
lets's be honest, do you see that people know them? I mean everyone knows blackpink or even twice, general public knows these groups. I don't see the same impact with their music, concept or the members. It's like stray kids, they are very succesfull, but general public doesn't know them, like they do with BTS or EXo for example. I don't think they will have the same cultural impact, not even close.
