If BTS wins the Grammy Awards in 2 weeks there is a slight chance that their military exemption will be discussed again, now the incels having pacified more or less after seeing Seokjin languishing in a camp near DMZ. Some crazed incels and uberreactionionary politicians may balk, but their noises will be ignored this time.
But ABBA is around and the reactionary Grammy Award might give the prize to them.
If that happens I expect the enlistments of most members (Jungkook is another case but I won't discuss him at this post) will start in the summer.
But that basically means Min Heejin will have a free hand running Ador, and eventually all acts of Hybe, as Bang increasingly withdraws from running groups to do whatever he prefers to do now, (he gave a song to LeSserafim but that song has maybe 20 writers ) and every day Min Heejin is not hiding her ambition to do bigger things.
Those who don't know corporate politics will find it harder to understand, but in competitive companies like this, with an indifferent owner who doesn't really care about a particular act, the most prominent department takes the control.
Unless NewJeans slips, which seems unlikely since there seems to be no challengers around it now and IU not being what she used to, Min Heejin will probably march into the Hybe HQs by late 2024 to head all of Hybe's acts with a trusted underling to manage NewJeans itself.
Min Heejin already designed the current HQs of Hybe. With her higher reputation and increased power, she will go for the greatest prize - BTS. Bang will do nothing to stop it.
Min Heejin doesn't have a particular love for her acts; she puts herself before everything, so NewJeans is just a stepping stone for her to reach a higher place. After she gets to run the Hybe acts (Seventeen and Fromis9 will probably be left alone since they didn't start with Hybe), she will fight the BTS members, who now mostly produce themselves.
It is literally like fighting a war and returning to see their town taken over by some niece of the Mayor and the niece orders the veterans to serve her.
I watch history and human behavior. BTS not abandoning K-O-R-E-A is its most fatal mistake. IN 2025 they will be briefed by how Min Heejin will deal with BTS and RM will be faced a hard decision - 1 ) either submit to Min Heejin's demand and reinvent the group according to her whims, or 2) try to oust Min Heejin out, or 3) I won't say it.
