It's time for me to say my final farewell to Minju. I'm sure y'all have noticed that she is no longer my DP.
She broke my heart when she decided to give up her last connection to the Kpop world, ending her stint as Music Core's MC. There is no point in stanning someone who wants to be an actress. What is there to stan? No performance videos, no interaction with other idols, no fanservice videos and interaction with fans, no variety show appearances. The only thing fans of actors get are billions of pictures endorsing this or that and I dont care about JPEG ads for lipstick and bags. And a few lines in a movie once a year if you're lucky. I've tried to be happy about her appearance on My Forbidden Princess but tbh, my happiness was surface level only, she barely got any good lines and who knows when she'll next be appearing in a movie or getting a REAL role?
The whole stanning an actress is an empty hollow existence.
Right now, i'm on a Karina kick. I think she's the only 4th gen idol that could conceivably challenge my Wonyoungie for the title of Kpop It Girl, if SM finally does its job and promotes her the way she deserves. I think Korea would completely fall head over heels for her, with her visuals and her personality and oncamera charisma. Just check my DP and Signature, the girl has got the IT factor.
So, goodbye Minju-ya. I know you'll be reading this. I hope you take what i've said to heart and return to the idol world where you belong. It's not too late, i'll keep the lights on for you if you ever decide to come back to Earth and return to idol life.
