Notice how people who say that idols can’t dance or sing

I know this thread isn't meant to be a serious thread, but I personally disagree with this kind of blanket statement that shutting down any kind of criticism. Not every negative feedback is just for the sake of hating on your fave.

Being an Idol is a job. Not being the best is one thing but showing not a single improvement or even regress years in your career is simply just unprofessional. It has been proven again and again that skills can be acquired through hard work.

The difference is that i am not trying to become an Idol so even if i am talentless doesn't matter while talentless idols did become idols!

the most judgmental people are the ones that have high self-esteem backed up by ability

its just that we like to convince ourselves their opinion doesnt matter by calling them talentless cause it makes us feel bad

I would give this as the best answer, just because

I sing and play several instruments so I don’t feel concerned by this take but even so, I don’t agree. I have ears to hear and eyes to see.

That’s how criticism works? You don’t need be a singer to able to recognize good singing. You don’t need to be an author to criticize bad writing. Etc etc.
