Boygroup stans, do u ever hate a kpop male idol scandal so much it makes u second guess your decision to stan male idols?

Some of the scandals are just stupid things that people are blowing out of proportion. However, if any of my faves did something horribly wrong such as burning sun, harming someone etc. I wouldn't unstan the group, as a group isn't accoutable for one person's actions, but I would no longer stan that person.
A perfect example is Yunsung of Noir. The company hasn't made an official statement but every member unfollowing him after the news of him beating the shit out of his ex g/f or whatever, was clear to me that something happened. I immediately got rid of everything I have of him. I stopped following him and I will no longer support him, but I still support the rest of the group.

this is why you never idolise these people like so many stans do with how they become so codependent on these idols and the images they present to their fans, especially when it comes to male idols.
the levels of difference in "scandals" is insane between male idols and female idols, for these male idols its gang rape, sex trafficking, hidden camera and the most reprehensible shit

as far as i'm aware he's not in the group anymore, but i'm not going to punish a group for one person's actions it's not their fault. they didn't collectively go and beat the chicks ass for example.

Unstanning everyone because of one person's fault is stupid imo, that's why I just unstanned Seungri (he is not anymore in BigBang anyways) and still stan BigBang. Also I don't even buy kpop albums, merch or go to concerts, so there's not really much of a sacrifice from me. Also I don't really delude myself thinking kpop idols are angels. We don't know their true personality. So I don't have much expectation for them. I am here for music, talent, hardwork (I think it's the only thing we can really see from idols that is related to personality) and teamwork.
Maybe if I used to spend so much of my money and time on kpop idols, I would be really mad if they turned out to be bad person.

not really because I never thought of my faves as some god like person, this goes to any idol either male or female, those tweets about being "the kindest person on earth" for doing the bare minimum always made my head ache lol
people are people, you will never know how that person actually is.. like people in position of power tend to be assholes, even people you see everyday can be assholes and you dont know, I would never assume a person I don't even know or see face to face isn't capable of something

Second I don’t expect celebrities to be on a pedestal to be entertained by them. You can tell me their faults and controversies but if their song or movie entertains me I really don’t care. Because I never cared about them as people anyway.
