I think Born Pink is their worst album.

literally just finished listening to the new album and I have to say, I agree. The songs were OK but just a boring album. The songs are ok but I just feel like each song was just missing something to make it stick. Also, too much swearing. It comes off a little try-hard.

Yeah it is after KTL, I only like PV and shut down usually I don’t get the hate toward Blackpink’s music but this time I don’t get the hype over BP.

In the album I loved every song, and the songs really stood out, they had collabs too but this one feels like...meh. Overall I feel like both albums are very similar, they didn't really do anything different and they did it better in the album.

Kinda agree. And not even because I think the songs are necessarily bad - almost all of them have "catchy" parts, and the majority have a decent beat. But it is, for lack of better word, fairly boring. None of the songs they did were exceptionally different from what they've done in the past (save the happiest girl) and even the two songs off born pink that'd i listen to again independently (happiest girl and tally) start to feel a bit repetitive by the end.

I guess what I'm saying is that born pink isn't bad but it also isn't particularly memorable or inspiring.

I don't know if I'm ready to say which of the two is better but if I had to, I think Born Pink is marginally better. I think the general take that this album is "boring" is pretty spot on though. It certainly doesn't have garbage tracks like Ice Cream or Bet You Wanna, but at the same time Born Pink doesn't have an unquestionably elite tier track like Pretty Savage.

A lot of the songs on Born Pink just don't have variety within themselves. The tempos stay the same for all 3 minutes, the instrumental samples loop too much on a few of the songs. I just think the effort on a creative level isn't totally there.

Apart from "Yeah Yeah Yeah", which I adore, there's nothing that really caught my attention and made me love it? I get the "boring" allegations. It's not a terrible album but for me The Album had more standouts which is what makes some albums better than others for me

The album is just okay. I like a good chunk of the songs, but some are honestly just boring. I preferred The Album. At the end of the day, I'll listen to part of both albums, so whatever.

its solid, but it has some and you can feel the western production on it, which i personally find boring most the time

I love it and I'm not even their fan
