Idle when Soojin was in the group, Soojin would barely say two words in much of the variety and interviews - she was extremely quiet. But she wasn't ignored, that's just how she was. I don't know Blackpink but maybe the same for Jisoo?

Jisoo is the one who takes the initiative during Korean interviews it's the English ones that she is quiet but that's understandable English is not her first language.

Jennie was teaching Jisoo some English phrases nah I don't think that's the case if anything they always encourage her to learn English. Maybe they they don't want to put pressure or put her on the spot in English interviews knowing Jisoo probably feels a bit conscious.
