How much does a fandom's toxicity prevent you from enjoying the artist's music?

If the music is really good, then the fans don't impact anything.

No, I can listen to music without engaging with a group's fans.

I won't let other people ruin my enjoyment.

Will it stop me from becoming part of that fandom, sure. But the music is separate.

I can listen to music without bothering with fans

but I probably wont ever be hardcore in the fandom if they are toxic

i barely notice whats going on in fandoms of music i listen to i m the outside i m just here for funsies

It doesn't affect me

sadly, sometimes I feel like something was ruined by the fandom...

I guess for some people it can and does affect their enjoyment...

while it doesn't for me since I can tune out and ignore all the negativity

for me it doesn't affect my view on the artist that much, but there are some people out there who've had some real bad experiences so i don't blame them

The only place I have seen where 90% of the people are toxic is atlr and my elementary school.

There's good and bad people in every fandom, not going to stop listening to an artist's music cause some bad apples did something.

If it just enjoying their music then I'll just casually listening to them but not staning the group.

Music above all else - fans are ppl.and of course there are bound to be silly, trolls, and toxic ness - I just ignore it all. The music is what I prioritize.

I can ignore fandom toxicity if I REALLY like the artist's work because I can just focus on the artist. Although it would still be nice if the fandom is not too toxic because sharing what you like with other fans is nice.
