I agree! I never told anyone, but it was kind of my wish that they make a rock inspired song (after Cactus and other gg releases this year). I actually want to make a thread about it today, I was super happy when I heard the snippet and the full song!

Hmmm, do you listen to rock often? It probably sounds familiar because it's a very common guitar rift.
First that comes to my mind is We Will Rock You by Queen and pretty iconic to rock songs.
Which is probably also why the song says "I'm the Queen" now that I think about it.
Like i said in that other thread, this is one of Kpop's bravest songs. What other group has laid it all on the line and pushed their vocals to this extreme, without heavy, 100% autotune? It's as raw as pop vocals get these days and i'm living for it.

Agree, this has been one of my most surprising change of sound of any group.
I forgot how good this song is. It's tied with Trouble in terms of how good it is, and that's a huge compliment from me. A solid 10/10. That chorus, the high notes, the song being in all English, their voices, trying something new, they understood the assignment and aced it 100%.
