Idk. One user on reddit has written whole essay about TBZ being 4th gen boygroup. I have just shortened her/his point.
But haven't TBZ gain traction lately? They have talked with ATEEZ, SKZ and TXT lately. Isn't gen thing is bunch of groups competing with each other in the same time interval?

- EXO big sales and good charting whit many hit and high view
- Seventeen 1 million seller for each album they release and decent charting
- Wanna One if they weren't a temporary group they would have been 3rd
- GOT7 they sell alot and had many hit like just right, if you do, hard carry and lullaby
- NCT they sold 1 million last year and in a couple of year they could be in top 3
- Winner good charting and album sales
- Nu'est very known and loved in Korea after produce
- Monsta X good sales and big international fandom
- Ikon not so high album sales but they had some hit
