1. A lot of EXO and Red Velvet fans have an history of being insufferable with NCT and having this big
"musically superiority" and "paying SM bills" complex, also their songs are more pop and R&B oriented which clashes with the genres NCT tends to go for on their title tracks, so they tend to dislike everything associated with NCT and viceversa.
2. Suju seems to have a more latin-chinese centered fandom and a lot of their members are often deemed as controversial by the western K-Pop public, their style of music and target public is also pretty far from NCT I would say.
3. Shinee is pretty liked by the K-Pop community overall, but they also often were kind of the... "experimental" of the company at the time? Kinda like f(x)... Like they were this group that constantly changed their sound every comeback, even Sherlock happened uniting 2 songs... They had this image of "not as popular as EXO BUT they are very innovative". I feel like NCT and Shinee share a similar "SM's underdogs who actually have a big impact" narrative, and you can see both fandoms connecting with each other easily. Yes, Shinee's music was mostly more pop centered, but they always tried something "fresh" and even played around with Dubstep (Everybody).

Also I feel like when SuperM formed, Shawols and Taemin fans were a lot more receptive of the project than Exo-ls, and there was pretty good chemistry between them and NCTzens because well, pretty much everyone likes and respects Taemin. Even I would dare say, the K-Pop idol that somehow resembles Taemin the most for me performance-wise is Ten.
5. Idk how the dynamics of SM boygroup fandoms were before, but if I have to take a guess I can imagine just by looking at their debuts dates that Shawols may didn't get along that well with E.L.F. and EXO-L's, although you can illustrate me here.

dream con sitting were based on a honor system. Fandoms should have only bought tix for the section they were designated to. Some exols thought they smart and bought tix in SHINee sections. Shawols didn’t let them sit there in a complete fit. The who ordeal was funny. From shawols pov exols broke the rule and denied shawols from their tix. From exols pov, they paid for it and wanted to cheer on exo.
