Seeing how people are using or trying to use Newjeans for their petty and silly fanwars make me sick

Honestly, I'm getting annoyed with the same users setting them up because I know if they chart even 1% below expectations all hell will be let loose on them

Bros if you don’t like kpop culture, then leave. It’s been practically the same for generations. You’d think if it bothered you so much, you’d leave the fandom and get off a kpop forum, BUT, here you are so??????

This may be an unpopular take but posts saying stuff like "NewJeans is getting so much hate/haters are hypocritical" can be just as petty because they never actually address WHO is saying what and ends up just causing more fanwars. Even specifying "I saw these types of comments on Twitter" would be better because many AKP users get confused thinking that they're talking about NewJeans getting hate on the forum, which hasn't been the case much, at least from what I've seen.

I think you have to separate posts that are setups vs posts that truly express how a person feels.

We've already seen huge traffic for Newbeans, they're easily the talk of the town right now, we have tons of posters on here loving their concept, their music , their MVs, the girls' visuals, MHJ, etc. Their MVs were trending everywhere in Korean Youtube. Now we've seen record breaking album preorders and Cbars already raising substantial sums of money for a debut group. It feels like an explosion is about to happen, so naturally everyone's expectations are sky high.

I mean i generally cant stand their music, it's the most generic boring music, but even i will openly admit that they're the biggest existential threat to everyone else in Kpop right now, particularly when it comes to international popularity and success. They have been custom built to take on BP's mantle.
