2NE1 and Miss A won Song of the year during their rookie year so is not impossible for rookies to win daesang, depends if they fit the criteria, they offen don't fit the criteria which is why they don't win, there isn't a rule which says rookies can't win daesangs, Wanna One also won Best Male Group as few months after debut
