And if their third comeback is as successful they are front runner for artists of the year. Specially for awards like Melon.

afaik lesserafim's album sold more than ive's debut album? also iirc they both peaked around the same position on melon as well. lsfm was 11 and eleven was like 9 or 10, no? say what you want about "impact" but numbers are numbers. i'd like to see their comparison on gaon digital chart but i'd have to dig for it so meh.

To add on to this titles like Nation's First Love, Nation's Little Sister, etc etc are generally outdated. No one has really been referred to that in years & I think the only reason KPOP stans give these titles importance in 2022 is for fanwar purposes. That being said yeah IVE are huge & will continue to be huge as long as they release good music.

Fearless peaked around 240k uls on Melon and Eleven peaked around 290k daily.
Fearless win physical and Eleven win digital.
However, Love Dive is on another level. Le sserafim definitely need a good song next comeback if they want to have a chance to win roty.

If Ive scores even just a top 10 ish hit in August, it's a wrap. Three top 10 songs, two top 5 songs, one national hit, nobody else in Korea would have those numbers. The only caveat is if Eleven doesnt quality since it technically came out in 2021 but i remember reading something about how songs released in December count for the following year in these awards, which means Eleven could be counted for 2022. Same with the ROTY award, a group debuting in December can qualify for ROTY in the following year IIRC.
ROTY, SOTY, Artist of the Year, literally all of these are there for the taking.
Things can change if the August song flops and Idle or Lesserfrim comes out with a national hit in Sept. But it would have to be a true barnburner of a hit, not a slow riser, that makes an impact right away, to impress judges and amass points in time for the awards ceremonies which start as early as December.
