Praise your faves

  • Let's get some positivity flowing. :cheer-bunny:

Praise your fave group or idol, and praise a group or idol that you don't particularly stan.

For me, I'd like to praise Aespa's vocal delivery on Girls. It's so satisfying for me to listen to, and I especially enjoy them popping off from the bridge onwards.

I'd also like to praise Blackpink for finally having a comeback. Looking forward to the absolute bangers they'll deliver. Their discography is so so solid. I need more.

  • I always praise Stray Kids members for many things they deserve. But I think one of the things I like to appreciate them the most for is how much they believe in their music. They take their art very serious.

I love to watch their growth as musicians and how they are always worried about improving and developing new skills, how important for them that they do is true to what they feel, not what others think they need.

They are aware about what people say about them and the advices about how they should go to a certain route to find success and they still are stubborn and choose what they believe. And maybe If they weren't like that, they wouldn't produce songs I love so much.

And I suppose that, for the amount of love they have for their music, they value every single little achivement they get that would be seen as irrelevant from a lot of people's point of view and, for them, It's like they are on Cloud 9. I find It super cute to see them excited.

  • Thanks for starting such a positive thread!

For my faves, I want to praise NCT 127 for working so hard - they’ve been running around, touring, which in some cases has involved having to completely rejigger the show because they’re missing a member from COVID, and in Jaehyun’s case, he flew back from Milan only to turn around in less than 24 hours to fly to Japan for concerts. Somewhere in the middle of concert tours and rehearsing, they still created special content. Despite all this, they’ve delivered an outstanding show for fans in Japan and Singapore (where they only had 1 day of practice!) I’m so happy to see them thriving and happy (and sometimes emotional and crying) to be back performing in front of their fans like they love.

For my non-faves, I want to give kudos to Stray Kids, who are putting on their own outstanding concerts. They are always so high energy and completely engaged with their fans! They put on a fantastic show!

  • Dreamcatcher -

I have never been so happy at a group, even after the win a couple of months ago they have not let off the gas and continued to grow, pumping out content like no other, they give 100% in every show and it is so heart warming to see.

My only wish is that Korea gives them more chances to get their name out there domestically, I feel like the GP would like them more if they saw the girls not just as 'rock kpop' but as who they are.

Also shout out to insomnicsy - I'm sure every fandom has their own version, but she keeps the entire fandom afloat with the content she releases

  • Day6 don't get enough praise for their vocals because they are a band. People always be like "they are a band they don't dance of course they sing well"

Day6 also don't get enough praise for their songwriting and production. People always be like "they are a band of course they should write their own music"

Basically everything your faves get praised for, Day6 doesn't get as much praise as they should just because they are a band

    Facts are facts
