Genuinely baffled as to how SM managed to kill Aespa's hype for this comeback
They had Coachella
They had months of hiatus
They had the second SMCU episode, they had western distribution, good US promotions, radio play, playlisting
And yet Illusion and LTS both did poorly on the charts and there is little hype for Girls, at least judging from how their Twitter likes are moving compared to previous eras
There's still 10 days until the comeback so maybe the hype will be back with the MV teaser but not really feeling it rn

OP
I agree with others that LTS killed the hype a lot especially its timing
SM should have released it right after coachella and if not then drop it on june 1st and illusion shouldve been the prerelease
LST fits their lore and I like the song as it is but it just seems out of place if you're not invested in their concept
SM definitely expected huge viral moment with it which can still happen ig but the damage was done
and I like girls teasers a lot they have this eerie feel and the weapon things are amazing
for me these teasers are better than savage but seems like lots of mys are not feeling it
