I could expand the conversation to any girl group ever. I'm just looking at the groups who released music in the same time window, so people won't deflect and dilute the conversation with the usual idiotic rhetoric about "Everything is easier now so it doesn't count!!!!"
Well, every popular girl group from both third and fourth generation released music from 2022 to 2024, so why is it only one girl group's songs, NewJeans' songs, had such historic "stickiness" on the charts?
WHY IS HYPE BOY STILL A TOP 50 SONG IN 2025?! Like, the song came out in July 2022
Why aren't other groups charting their album intros, ad songs and even interludes?

We've had three full years worth of time to tell, and the 4th generation has been around since 2018
Why is the phenomenon of absurd song peaks and longevity something that, for some reason, has only manifested for NewJeans and no other girl groups?
Do tell.
The last time I checked, many girl groups are set to debut in the future so yes..only time will tell whether other girl groups can match and surpass the longevity of NewJeans' songs.
If you want it to be strictly 4th Gen girl groups, you could've said that. But you didn't so I'll use "other girl groups" as a general term.
