Probably because this is unheard of before something like their case hasn't happened and when it did it did not have favorable results. This is the first time something like this went so smoothly and without a big legal fight

The legal system is very complicated and the fact that ADOR is suing NewJeans for their unilateral termination shows that ADOR is willing to work their way out of a loss. ADOR aside, HYBE will try to drag this out as long as possible cuz this could've very easily been solved from Day 1, but ofc not.
No doubt there will much more public stunts and useless statements put out in the ensuing months that just add to the complete bullshit that is this dispute.
