‧₊˚✩彡MY OPINION: I MISS AESPA, why is their company making them do everything, but giving us a comeback! I get the brand endorsements, sponsorships, and that stuff, but I miss them! The girls are in they’re “IT GIRLS” era , give them a worthy comeback. Karina has her new amazing hair, winter is getting prettier every comeback, Giselle has this charisma, and Ning Ning is just serving great visuals. Anyways all MY’s can do is hope for the best, hopefully Aespa will make a comeback.

‧₊˚✩彡MY OPINION: I agree with this, 4th gen is one of the most competitive generations in my opinion. Each groups has its own fandom, which has different music tastes and etc. Also am I the only one who feels like more concepts are being introduced in 4th gen? I feel like in other generations, groups mainly stuck to one or two concepts that were really popular. Of course you still had groups who presented new ideas, but I feel like they weren’t that popular. In. 4th gen it feel like all concepts are being embraced and accepted, starting from LESSERAFIMS runway model vibe, to AESPAS futuristic theme. Also with companies like CUBE, and STARSHIP ENT getting to shine, the competition will only increase.

However I feel like some toxic fans blow it out of proportion, like they make that their whole personality. I feel like people should stop with this narrative, and even if male idols are in a relationship why do you care? Stans saying that idol, or this idol is scared of a relationship/female, is to cover up the fact a idol might be dating someone. Recently she doesn’t get that much hate either, and usually stays unproblematic. The only reason I can think of is that starship is trying to make some members, or a certain member shine at a time? Maybe she hasn’t gotten her turn?, nonetheless I feel like in their recent song she had some of the best parts along with yujin, I hope starship will try to offer her more opportunities to show the great charisma she has. I also wanna add that we shouldn’t pity stan idols, I appreciate Liz for her talents, not because other people she’s under appreciated. So if your one of the people who pity stans, instead of doing that just support her, pity stanning won’t help her reach success.

I don’t even know who says that, since I see people usually praising them from being from a small company, but never comparing them to such successful groups. Why do people even create this narrative of who will be the next who? BTS had to train day and night to achieve even half of the hype FIFTY FIFTY has right now, and at one point they could have even disbanded. Not to mention how BTS was considered to be from a not so known company. BTS did not have Spotify, all these brand endorsements, or hype, they had to create it. New Jeans on the other hand is always topping charts, break the records, and proving they are real competition. New Jeans hype will be nearly impossible to be removed since they have built a strong fan base. ‧₊˚✩彡MY OPINION: I think that Aespa has kinda experimented with both, and I don’t think the girls really dislike either. For example in a buzz feed video, Ning Ning said she really liked y2k style, and the others kinda agreed. I love the futuristic theme, and I don’t want them to lose that because of a popular trend, if they can continue y2k with the current concept I’ll applaud it. At this point it’s all up to SM, but knowing how big companies usually follow trends or what is popular, they will probably go with the cyber y2k stuff.

˚ ༘♡ ⋆｡˚MY OPINION: Nmixx has literally every ingredient they need to be successful, visuals, talent, personality, big 3 company group, everything. They have what most popular groups have, yet they don’t really have that popularity. To be honest, this whole experimental thing feels like JYP is simply testing the waters with Nmixx, as if they are just a test. It really sucks because Nmixx is so talented, and have great charisma, also because JYP has low key been releasing unpleasant discography in general. I hope JYP will give Nmixx the chance to try a concept that suits them better, without them just being a experiment or following random trends. They need a stable solid release ASAP, because they have a lot of potential.

JYP is already really focused on Nmixx having a successful way to fame, and right now itzy feels like it’s not really being prioritized. The more work you put into making a Kpop group successful, the more likely they are to succeed. And even though it doesn’t always apply, but when you’re under a big 3 company that’s kinda the way it works. Not to mention how looking at the fact that Itzy’s recent comebacks haven’t been pleasing the public, the public is waiting for a act to come and sweep the popularity away. However Itzy does also have a advantage, that being that unlike Nmixx, they have a fixed comeback and fan base. NMIXX’s concept is constantly progressing and changing, and their fandom isn’t any differently. Despite Nmixx having a lot more resources, hype, and overall to begin with, they still lack the stability Itzy had.

˚ʚ♡ɞ˚MY OPINION: I think it’s because SM has found new ways to make their groups unique, or in other terms stand out. For example, NCT a is known as one of the groups, if not the group with the most members in ALL of Kpop. Then you have Aespa who is a leader of 4th gen, they were one of the first groups to introduce the Cyber Ai Concept to Kpop. It’s clear that in the past SM was following the trends which they found popular, but nowadays I feel like they are trying to make the groups stand out which is what makes them so popular.
