❁ཻུ۪۪♡MY OPINION: I think Kitsch wasn’t a bad song, it was solid, however when compared to the release of I AM, let’s be honest it kinda lacks. Kitsch was extremely catchy, I will give you that, and the vocals really progressed it felt like a new chapter. I loved that they tried something new, something fresh, and this luxury concept suits them great. When I ask people how they feel about Kitsch, they always complain about the weird change in beat when the chorus begins. As a person who actually enjoys experimental music, I actually loved this part!

❁ཻུ۪۪♡CONCLUSION: I think people dislike the beat and melody change from the chorus, but to be real I haven’t seen many even hating on the song!

✿1. Solo : I loved Jennie’s solo the most, I thought it was really good and represented her greatly. The outfits, the dance breaks, the rap, Jennie pulled it off great.

✿2. Flower : I can’t believe people hated this song, I think just like solo, it was made for Jisoo. I loved the beat of the chorus, and Jisoo really showed us her potential with those vocals.

✿3. On the ground : This was a solid solo debut for Rosie, however I don’t find myself revisiting the song a lot. I prefer gone over On The Ground, however her vocal tone was great in the song, and she had a great music video.

✿4. Lalisa : I don’t hate the song, but it’s not my cup of tea. Lisa had a great rap at the end, but in some of the raps, the lyrics were really throwing me off. I felt like she offered a great music video, and I loved that she reprise her Thai culture in the song.

*ੈ✩‧₊˚I am not sure based on group whole, however I personally find the vocals of Ning Ning, Liz, Hanni, and Yunjin to be extremely soothing and beautiful. I will rank the main vocalists of each group, ღ(THESE ARE JUST MY PERSONAL PREFERENCES)ღ.

1. Ning Ning ღ(AESPA)ღ Her vocal tone is very beautiful, and it goes great with AESPA songs, she was one of the first vocalists to stand out for me.

2. Yunjin ღ(LESSERAFIM)ღ She has very strong vocals, they go great with the confident concept, she used to do soprano, and that really shines through her confident strong vocals.

3. Liz ღ(IVE)ღ I think Liv’s vocals are absolutely amazing, especially in the recent song I AM, she has a bit of a less unique vocal tone, but nonetheless she still makes the vocals shine.

4. Hanni ღ(NEWJEANS)ღ I know that new jeans don’t really have a main vocalist, however Hanni is the best vocalist in terms of technique, and stability. You can tell her vocal color apart from the rest of NEWJEANS, she has a unique tone.

* ˚ ✦What type of internet are you using?, I think you just get the impression that 4th gen stans are more calm. But it could be due to the fact that they have smaller fandoms, which means less rumors spreading. Every generation had its fair share crazy stans, and 4th gen isn’t any different-* ˚ ✦

* ˚ ✦I’m gonna say IVE, l really like the style and concept they have going on. A close pick would be New Jeans, however I feel like some comebacks have been a bit boring recently, compared to the beginning. Lesserafim is great but they aren’t necessarily my cup of tea, there is something about their concept that I don’t really vibe with. * ˚ ✦

Hopefully SM will open they’re eyes, and give us the comeback Aespa deserves, considering the competition is really high in 4th gen. ˗ˏˋ ♡ ˎˊ˗

ੈ♡˳Definitely not, the good thing about Aespa is that they all her different personalities, which means more people can be drawn to them. Someone before said we shouldn’t doubt Ning Ning, and I 100% agree, Ning Ning has a ton of potential due to her vocals, personality, and possible rise in brand endorsements . I actually think all Aespa members are “it girl” material, because they are pretty popular or unique in terms of visuals, talent, and personality.ੈ♡˳

ᰔᩚI will go ahead and go with IU, I am a huge IU fan, and I think her vocals are a true masterpiece. A good runner up would be Rosé, but IU just has some very memorable songs which can never be replaced! Everyone on this list was extremely talented, but IU’s soft tone goes great with her concept!ᰔᩚ

But Aespa is literally one of the 4th gen group where their impact on kpop can be feel the most

Agencies were afraid to adventure in this whole technology, AI, virtual things

And after Aespa debuted and released NEXT Level and you start to see people singing about their AE etc ...

- YG literally signed an AI to become a model

- MAVE which is a group formed with AI members debuted

- Kakao launch a survival show "Re:Verse" with idols competing to debut in an AI girlgroup

- Few months after aespa debut a company launch. Girlgroup with 11 Ai called "eternity"

- JYP literally launch Nmixx where their whole concept is to mix different genre of song in one song, after seeing the success that this type of song can have with the succees of Next Level when nobody used to believe that experimental song can be popular

- Mirae "killa" using the futuristic technology concept for their MV

- TXT using a replica of the POS portal that Aespa use in their universe

And the list goes on and on there was tons of mv using futuristic, technology concept

I'm sorry but you can't be objective and tell me that Aespa concept with their futuristic, technology, AI aesthetic made less impact on groups and agencies than IVE

Aespa actually influenced a lot of things, putting down two groups success would be kinda ridiculous in this case ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ. ✩｡°𝄞🎧𝄞°｡✩Not really. I would say they caused a shift, which did change the expectations for 4th generation, but they did not pave for the rest of the groups. There are definitely a lot of groups following the Aespa trends, let’s not act like it’s only Nmixx, because XG also got inspired by Aespa, and I am sure there are more to come. The cyber AI concept was a concept which was considered kinda weird at the beginning, and even though K/DA was a thing, they hadn’t gotten that popularity. However with the release of Next Level, people started becoming more intrigued by this experimental music, which as we see today has actually become kinda popular among the industry.
