tbh in 2022 i am so much more fearful of smaller companies than bigger ones. now that slave contracts are kinda out the window and idols are worth more in korean entertainment, if you are in a big company you have many freedoms. kpop is just so different now
except if ur from a small companies there is so much to lose and so much not determined, idols from these companies are so overworked and treated like animals

it looks fun. 2nd gen idols just do it better so this will be a breath of fresh air for me

i think larger kpop groups are out/not in style anymore, it seems in 4th gen girl groups should have max 6 members to be successful because each member has their chance to shine and appeal to the public
in purple kiss there are too many members with overlapping visuals and overlapping skills to where it is hard to understand the individual charms of each member from watching one performance alone, which is why ggs like ive, lesserafim, and ive are doing so well rn
to be honest and in my opinion the group would have been fine if it was na goeun, yuki, chaein and swan. those are the members that shine to me and we already have vocals, dance and rap right there. don't get me wrong i love jieun, ireh and dosie i just am a fan of smaller groups. its less competition for the girls and allows them to do more

idk when you've been a kpop fan for a long time you get used to it, but i understand the sentiment if you only became a fan recently and haven't gone thru the generations
like im mainly a 2nd gen stan, got into kpop around 2010 and basically all of my favorite groups which were from that era either aren't active or have disbanded. back then i was upset about it but you just learn to appreciate their music and support them in their individual activities if you wish, or you move on and start looking at newer groups with their group careers ahead of them

i really like this song. i feel like each member gets a moment to shine in this title, which wasn't the case in the debut
however i am curious as to why chaehyun isn't pushed as the center even though she has the potential to be the most general public friendly member, she is korean, pale, very pretty, good vocal, literally one first place, etc. lol

i love shana so i'll be watching, she was one of my picks from gp999 and imo she was a lil robbed
anyways i strongly dislike this song, in my personal opinion, i watched the live stage and its literally a dance performance with about 10 seconds of rapping from the maknae and 10 seconds of vocals from the main vocal
like is this really what kpop has come to....its just a big dance competition now because the vocals just arent there? do companies just not care anymore? this was really disappointing as i enjoy kpop mainly for the songs and vocalizations
but if you aren't into that im sure this debut was good? idk i guess its personal

kep1er was the best for me, i love a good vocal heavy chorus

the song is nothing special but i really needed this title from loona after so what/why not/paint the town
to me those songs are even more basic and i don't think most members of loona suit the girl crush concept, imo their best concepts were around debut (favorite is iconic and i miss it, i wish they stuck with that)
i really enjoyed seeing the members with this concept and its fun to me for the summer so i know the stages are going to be good
and will keep the attention of fans who have never seen this side of loona
