i don't see some members resigning, and their contracts are up in august. its pretty much over for them though i can definitely see one more group album before they cease group promotions. they are a 7 year old group this year and i think SM is tired of trying so hard with them, they already peaked and their fanbases are solidified so theres no need to push them as a group so much anymore. when snsd were in their 7th year they only really released one more album + the anniversary release and went their separate ways too

probably not going to happen. it is nearly impossible for "groups" to promote when members are under different labels. it simply doesn't going to occur and we've seen it time and time again so idky fans think got7 is magically different. not a big though, they have optimistic solo careers in the works and i think that is even more exciting

not surprising. rv have like..........no years left so it makes sense that they need to start marketing the next generation

hmm i think big 3 privilege in SM definitely started with exo, but i cannot agree with miss a. even though they had wonder girls as a predecessor who essentially built JYP into a gg empire, the group internally was a mess. they had few music releases and disbanded very early and it was clear that jyp was desperate for success so they took suzy's popularity and ran with it instead of building the careers of fei min and jia. i don't even think the girls are even friends with suzy because their conditions were so difficult.

my point is, those girls struggled, and though they had a couple solid hits that doesn't mean they got those hits with help, because judging from their individual brands they got their on their own with sheer talent and suzy's hype that she worked for.

this post is funny to be because i see the situation as completely opposite! i think this comeback is miles above boca in terms of styling and song composition, not to mention how great this mv is. i think this song is the first that really allows gahyeon and handong to shine vocally, and i guess maybe i just prefer a song with a vocalized chorus but im glad they are challenging themselves with vocal heavy title tracks instead of just one phrase repeated over a beat drop, which dreamcatcher has done in the past and is a trend in kpop since 2017. overall odd eye has made me interested in dreamcatcher again and i think its great

odd eye is such an amazing song. i haven't really enjoyed anything dreamcatcher has released since deja vu, and this is probably my favorite song since their debut trilogy. siyeon is incredible, i literally cannot believe how amazing of a performer and vocalist she is. i hope they get a win for this comeback!

this wasn't good, which is a shame because hyuna is probably still the strongest 2nd gen performer as a soloist. change, bubble pop, ice cream, red, hows this, roll deep, babe, lip&hip....none of those songs sound the same, they feature different sounds, styling, composition, vocalizations from hyuna, meanwhile ever since joining p nation her titles have been her repeating one phrase over a noisy beat drop, which is literally the most annoying and played out trend in kpop. her live performance still exceeds expectations but the song isn't original or good, for that matter. but honestly i think all music that has been released from p nation thus far has been ghastly so, take my opinion will a grain of salt.

ugh i remember when kara released these, they were so iconic. the fact that we got 5 separate high budget music videos to? ugh we were so spoiled. seungyeon's was my favorite, besides the fact that she was my bias i love the concept switch for her and the vocals were insane. i also really enjoyed jiyoung's wanna do since of all the members she certainly the one who received the least in kara title tracks.

i recognize the likability behind iu's newer music but it does not resonate with me. i agree that the entire blueming album was great but i could still sense through it she was moving towards something different with her music. it isn't bad just quite plain.
