the issue i have with a lot of YG songs these days is that they sound like recycled big bang and 2ne1 songs/songs that were made for those two groups that were just never put into an album, with the exception being akmu and treasure. but a lot of winner and ikon music just sounds like big bang 2.0 to me, and the same applies with blackpink and 2ne1. even though i feel that way with the song i really like it. it feels genuine and gives me major kpop 2014 vibes, and the music video does as well. ikon has grown on me with time and i feel bad for these guys, and i really feel like they are hardworking and want to achieve actual success. i am rooting for them on kingdom 100000%

the song is very unimpressive and very generic. its certainly on trend but does not fit with the concept. i was expecting a vocal heavy, high energy ballad. something along the lines of btob's insane or irresistible lips? it is clear this group is heavily lacking in vocals. the only members that sing really is dann and arthur, the rest share like no lines. and even then i don't know if they could sing the song live, its such a heavily edited track

i STAN ivan though. and i love that every live performance he gets like 1 crumb of screentime for his like one adlib and then he's gone again

im not an army nor to i closely follow anything involving big hit but i have been in the kpop fandom since 2010, and all i can say is that big hit got lucky with bts and clearly has no idea what is going on or what they are doing

they consistently release bops and are one of the only ggs currently active with actual killer vocals

also lalalilala arguably the best comeback of 2020

i literally cried watching it, i've been a fan of songsun for so long and to finally see her debut as a fan literally is such a happy moment.....she's amazingly talented!

hi! i have been a fan of songsun for a long time, probably two years now- and i am beyond excited to see her finally debuting.

my question is for songsun:

songsun, you were a trainee for 8 long years! how does it feel to finally be debuting, and what motivated you to keep training all of those years with no guarantee of debut?

the music video i could do with never watching again but the song is cool. the group doesn't feel super original, feels like a combo of gidle and stayc but i will stan for songsun, that girl is an absolute unit

plus idk how to feel about a 14 year old is the same group as a 23 year old but whatever

it was alright. it felt very.....westernized? idk. like it sounded like an ariana grande song, which may sound great to some, but i am not included in that group.

i enjoyed the second part of the chorus and at least the choreo/performance is fun as hell. her showcase stage was great and i can't wait to see her promote it.

overall, not as good as rollercoaster, gotta go, snapping or stay tonight but could have been worse for sure.
