I think because we don't have an album, so it is important to have huge digitals sales and streams. The radio play alone is not enough to be in hot100. I bet they will have low air play because they're 'outsider' even the song in English.

I thought every gen start when there is a groups that able to top or breaking a records from the previous one. Third gen start with Exo, and we obviously know why. Their sells and songs at that time is huge, I mean within a year they already make big achievement to be able to compete with second gen.

Tbh, I don't really know when 4th gen started, or who the benchmark. The third one still going really strong like if I'm not mistaken, it is already the fourth year of the new gen and none of their records, sales or chart is able to beat the previous gen.

Let see, it would be a lot of fun next year after all the ngg from big companies debut. It could be like the third gen one, where Exo pass the baton to Bts and Twice pass it to Bp.

But the thing I am sure about is the fanwars going to be everywhere.

Is it only for the 4th gen or overall because based on the title it seems the most viewed mv in 24 hours among all the bg released this year?

Yes... I don't really understand about the chart reform, but as I know they're based on Uls not heavily on streaming anymore, cmiiw. The girls group performance is also drop and bg literally out of the chart except bts. This is actually because of the chart reform or korean just really turn the blind eyes to kpop including gg?

I dont think rtk for the really nugu groups. Tbz, Golcha, Onf, Verivery and Oneus was there too which none of this group considered as nugu at all. They're underrated but still ring the bell to most kpop stan.

But most groups suggested here like M.O.N.T and Pink Fantasy is the real nugu as many never heard about them at all even already in kpop circle for years.
