anti death penalty but not for the common reason. Typically its reserved for the most heinous people on the planet. Death will get everyone at some point, regardless of what you do in life. So why do they experience death before their time? If the goal is to deter people from doing such things, wouldn't simply life in super max prison with no chance of getting out be the best way? Yes you cam argue it costs alot of money, but the goal is to maximise suffering for them people and thats how you do it

well it scales based on the level of threat they pose. i dont live in a country where guns are legal, but lets say i do. if someone breaks into my house with a weapon, im shooting them in the leg, arm whatever to incapacitate them
Lets say im waling on the street and someone attacks me, im going to again try to incapacitate them using physical force and get away
