OP I 100% agree with you. The "make me feel like eleven" is literally the worst single line of lyrics in recent history. If they want to convey youth, should at least use 16 or 18, 11 is just way to young? doesn't feel right at all. If they mean "make me feel like 11/10", should have said "make me feel like a 11". Still bad, but at least no pedophile vibes.
Whoever green-lighted this line should be barred from writing lyrics ever again.

But internationally not even close. BP charted on bubbling under within 11 months. Which is insane. Especially back in 2017 when Kpop is much smaller.

So we know Lisa is the most unpopular member in Korea. So unpopular that her title track got only 166k ULs on Melon in the first 24hrs. Compared that with the 3rd most unpopular member Rosé, who got 436k ULs, we can see how pathetic that is. It means Koreans didn't even bother checking out her song at all. I won't be listing all the reasons why Lisa is so unpopular in Korea, because we all know.
Here is the karma kicks in. The Korean TV show squid game has become the biggest show in the world right now. And you know Koreans must be so happy and proud about it. Coincidentally, Money went viral and is now the de-facto sound track for squid game, at least to the international audience.

I don't think so, because 99.99% of people don't care about charts. You can pull 100 people off the streets and nobody can tell you what topped the hot 100 that week.

Anyone with 2 braincells knows that Jennie and Rose just wants to take a vacation and see some friends in the US, since Lisa and Jisoo are busy in Korea. YG saying they are in LA for work is simple to get the Korean press off its ass. If YG admit they are on vacation, the backlash would have been greater.
By dropping the Movie teaser today instead of teaser for Lisa's solo, it's safe to say that her solo will be delayed indefinitely until after their Anniversary schedules.
They have by far the biggest girl group in the world, and coming off a hugely successful Album release last October, all they did for the first 8 months of 2021 is releasing Rose's solo. (The show doesn't count because it was delayed into 2021 due to Covid)

Blinks are fine and I think Lisa c bar (which is by far the most profissional) will prefer a group cb and after a well promoted Lisa solo.
Ok, My bad, for some reason I read the OP and thought she meant the other way round, as in fans won't be buying the group CB. Not sure why that happened since she worded it pretty clearly.
Anyways, I still think it's best to not push her solo back anymore. Asking YG to delay something is like negotiating with the Devil. They can barely release any BP content, delaying it is a dangerous thing to ask for, who know what else would happen later in the year.
Also, we don't know what concept is Lisa's song. If it has some summer vibes to it, maybe they have to release it in the summer, otherwise it won't work as a winter comeback.
