But they're not remaking the movies. The action will be set 1000 years before the movies' action, the source material will the JRR Tolkien's "Silmarillion", I think, which is a collection of stories from the The First Age until the Third Age (with The War of The Ring).
Well, then it's alright :)

Don't need it, the movies were perfect and they're not going to find a better Aragorn, Frodo, Sam, Gandalf or Gimli anywhere. The Hobbit, on the other hand...

I felt/feel bad for Kahi and Soyeon. Both are strong women and great performers with actual talent, but because they do not fit the visual standard, they were discarded by both the general public and their own fandoms. Both were/are made out to be villains in favor of fandom biases of lesser talents, and never reached nor will reach their true potential because of it.

What do you think of Cheryl and Nicola's solo projects?
I admit I've not really checked out much of their solos, but from the little I've heard I prefer Cheryl
Edit: Lol, just watched her BRIT Awards performance and realized where SNSD and 4minute found their "inspiration" for outfits and choreo for RDR and Mirror Mirror (Gayo perf). Cheryl's now got the peculiar fame of being ripped of by three major Kpop acts - with the same song no less

Girls Aloud had the better songs, which is what matters to me
PCD had the best dancers and DC the best singers
All good groups, although GA was the only one that actually felt like a group instead of a one person vehicle...

Kahi and Soyeon, both aces and hated on by their own fandoms, sigh

From my point of view, doctors need to be made aware of mental illnesses such as BDD and held to a certain ethical standard as to whom they will operate on. It's difficult as many people with BDD can be manipulative and deny that they have the illness, and then there's the greed... My own experience is that most know that their patients would be better off seeking help from a psychiatrist, but since they'll get a steady customer they disregard the ethical code. Stricter regulations such as fines/removed licenses, requiring a psychiatric statement, and denying reoccuring cosmetic procedures might be the way forward. Maybe even a register, but that would probably be forbidden
In the end, there's a difference between a 38 -year-old mother of three who wants to get her breasts back in shape, and a severely depressed person on his fourth nose job

Because they are not as good as they're are presented as. Better lip sync and keep the illusion than singing live and exposing that all those high Cs were actually done by a machine/purchased clip/demo singer.
At this point, the only time I'm half-convinced it's an actual live are the encores, where it's exposed time and time again that 90% of all idols cannot even sing on key

wait she uploaded the picture again?
Apparently, she uploaded it on Weverse, got backlash for it, took it down and uploaded it on Insta instead

But she used kitler as nickname she knew.
In what world does your common person have every army uniform memorized. Only reason i know it cause i watch many war movies but it would be complete normal mistake to think it was just a military uniform of other origin.
Which they explained they didnt know it was controversial... knowing of Hitler as an evil man does not mean you knew every outfit he wore. Most the images are in black and white anyway...
And it was not a museum it was a cafe.
But anyway i dont think idols need to learn every origin of every culture you do realize that would take years right? Covering the main issues would be good for idols. But mistakes are bound to happen. We as humans need to be more understanding.
For me personally, I could accept that she's very ignorant and did not know. The appalling thing was how she handled it all:
1) After receiving backlash, she uploaded the damn picture again
2) No personal apology or admittance of why this is bad
3) Using Hitler jokes, posting things like "I'm removing it because fans are jealous" and "it's making a fuss" are not putting her in a good light
She's a grown woman who needs to take personal responsibility for her actions and acknowledge the hurt done.
Yes, cancel culture is very bad and as humans we do make mistakes: I don't think she hates jews or was intending to support genocide, but in the end she contributed to making light of a very sad passage of human history and needs to make some amends. Twitter trolls and antis will probably use this to the max, and that is sad, but that doesn't mean she should not make the simple effort stated above.

It's pretty much a given that she'll acknowledge it and make an apology for it. It's 2021. Cancel culture is rampant. Any sane celebrity, especially in the K-pop idol world, will apologize regardless. I don't think it would change anything since people will still hold their hard feelings against her, as they don't know her personally and will assume she moved on too quickly.
Well, so far she hasn't, so we'll see. I don't agree with cancel culture but I can only take responsibility for my own actions, and I would forgive her as long as she did not do it again. Considering the things that other idols have been cancelled for, at least this is a proper reason and not something like laughing at an inappropriate time.

Why's it okay for people to call others "grammar Nazi" and "feminazi," then?
Who says it's ok? To me, as a jew, it is not ok and it is making light of a period that should be remembered as terror. Two wrongs don't make a right here: I'm not saying that Sowon needs to leave the group, but I would expect a grown woman with an ounce of empathy in her body to take personal responsibility for her actions, make an apology that acknowledges the cause for it, and make a sincere effort to learn about the issue in order to not repeat the behavior. This is not too much to ask of a public figure!

Many of them are scouted before puberty and are put on dangerous diets and no-sleep training schedules, which may affect their growth. While they are getting taller just like the general population, it is clear that SKs are on average quite short. Being very skinny, having good proportions, and camera angles/shoes/lifts (not to mention that everybody is lying about their height to keep the illusion) can give the impression of height, but I'd say there are more female idols pushing 150 cm than 170 cm

is singing lying down easier?
Yes, it's easier to find your support in that position

Hate to break it to you, but even most supermodels are sack of bones, so if anything Wounyoung has the more modelesque body, but I agree she should gain weight for her own health's sake
