I don't think their next album will be in Sept at this point.
-
I only said that cause OP never put Bigbang on the list unless they made a comeback in that particular year. So I think the same rule should be applied to 2021 as well.
-
For 2021 since BP didn't have any comeback this year so far. I'll probably replace them with Brave Girls tbh.
Also f(x) for 2012 is a bit....

Who's 1st, G.O.D?
-
Seeing how Red Velvet debuted in 2014 at the start of August and that contracts since 2010 can't last longer than 7 years, this would suggest that they've already renewed their contracts, all of them
I thought Yeri joined RV in 2015 tho?

That's what i am thinking too.
There must be a video for it on youtube.
This one is for BoyGroup

It meant your tracks would flood the charts on the release of a mini or album.
If that's the criteria, then you should add AKMU as well (at least acc to their latest album chart performance). Also, NCT Dream manage to charted some of their Bside in Top100 Melon 24 Chart, so with that criteria maybe they're a semi-digimon after all? Lol
-
My main point was even BP need a quality songs to do well on chart, since the person I quoted said "a true digimon shouldn't rely on the quality of the songs to do well on chart" but then he/she mentioned BP, so I just point out that in my opinion BP have their not too well moment on chart with Ice Cream (at least compared to a digimons above their level like IU, BTS, etc who can release a pure garbage song and it'll chart inside top 10 for a few weeks probably). Now, if some ppl think Ice Cream were doing well on chart then thats no problem.

I don't think anyone calls iKon, Winner, or BTOB digital monsters anymore.
I think groups who heavily depend on music show performances/song quality to do well on charts (like Itzy, RV) can't be called digital monsters. True digimons don't need either of those things for a successful comeback.
I also don't think Taeyeon is a digital monster, if she counts here.
I also think we should stop calling Epik High digital monsters. Their previous album and single with Colde under-performed.
Only true digimons for me now are - IU, BTS, BP, Jang Beomjune. Nobody else has their consistency.
Imo BP-Ice Cream didn't do that well on chart tho. Peaked at #6 on Melon for a few hours only before it started to fall outside top 10. So I think even for BP, they still depend on a song quality to do well on chart.

Both weren't that popular internationally to begin with, even in the "traditional" international Kpop market like Japan and SEA, I don't think they were doing that well. While BTS seems to have a decent international followers even when they were still "nugu" in Korea, they already tour in an Arena in some SEA countries in 2014 iirc.

Thats the biggest plot twist I've ever seen in Kpop
