Would Korea be okay with this? The last time I checked, they're still very conservative and often shy away from themes like those. I can possibly see Karina. But Wonyoung's image has been built to be a princess. Though, I can see a possible pivot ( and I would die for it).
Personally, I hope they don't pivot to this. My bank account cannot handle it.
It just feels more organic somehow that theyre owning that theyre young and hot and like a sexual being.
I do agree that it probably wouldnt do well with the gp, but i truly hope we get something refreshing like this in the kpop space.
Also just to be devils advocate, Addison did s rebrand like no other so maybe Wonyoung can too? (Doubt it)

Something that i think is kinda a pop subculture right now (and the mainstage pop genre for myself and i’m noticing other gay people are aligned) thats really making waves is being a “hot girl” in like the girls next door, leaning into being sexy in the way Tate McRae is or Addison Rae, or very famously Sabrina Carpenter.
The dance breaks in these videos (that normani tbh normalized) are CRAZY and i would kill to see like Wonyoung or Karina or like Seulgi do something like this…

Well they have really done anything so far, that needs large amounts, except maybe for lawyers - that can be deferred payment.
Only new music, production, MVs, merch and physical albums would need large investments. Or concert tours.
It is quite possible that they or MHJ already are sitting on a pipeline of songs, already paid for
And they have been taking a largely digital route to be in public mind and now appearing via conventions arranged by others.
So none of it needs any big money, and can be done with their degree of fame.
The nugu companies could very well do such things, but they don't have the fame.
Things like costumes, stylists etc might not bite that much, if played smartly.
Which stronger supports they may have formed their own

Most people above have already mentioned a new agency but before acquiring a new agency, I'd guess they were funding themselves. After all, they've been paid millions so I wouldn't expect all that money to be spent so easily, already.
It would be so iconic if they formed their own
Edit: they actually have more money than bang did upon making big hit…. This might actually just be smarter…

Tbh i hope its an american agency that will kind of have a lighter hand on them.
Theyll never ever sign to the same agency as their producer though because that was key to keeping the right to performing their existing discography and if alllll of the rights were under one company their power in the artistry would shrink extensively.
