Yes they did. But its also bot necessarily the group/fandoms fault when EVERYONE notices the… inspiration.

The fact that kpop is three companies in a big cloak of bunches of smaller companies and creative teams being shuffled around is like the perfect breeding ground for copycats because everyone just moves onto whatever concept is currently serving the highest earning group best. ESPECIALLY in the girlgroup space.

But thats what happens when you manufacture every sound in a lab and then just have 5-7 random people pretend to connect to it.

And thats ALSO why NewJeans/NJZ can actually follow through on each concept because they actually had a say in the lyrics/composition and have a personal attachment to the brand/concept
