Is work out more for body build or drop weight?

Depends on what your goal is, whether to build muscle or tone for muscle. I do a combination of both weights and stationary bike. I do weights for my arms and stationary bike for my lower half and have seen results.

Your actual weight is more of a function of how much you eat versus exercise. Exercise enhances what you have. So if you're actually looking to lose weight, you need to eat less.
However to enhance your physique as well as hasten/prolong calorie burn, you should exercise. What type of enhanced look you are going for should guide what exercises you choose to do. In general, if you are going for lean muscle, choose a cardio based workout with running or swimming. If you are trying to tone certain areas like arms, weights are better.
As for my preference, I like to run outdoors, by myself. If I'm short on time, I'll do some quick HIIT workouts like weighted burpees or jumping squats instead, but I prefer running.

cardio such as aerobics will make u lose fat, weight lifting and other exercises that works muscles will develop muscles and tone your body. I think balanced amount of both is good.

I do cardio to increase my endurance, I do outdoor runs
I also do exercises with body weights to gain strength, mostly at home

I do it to lose weight/get more fit, and I go the gym. I used to work out at home, mostly, but going to the gym right after work is working better for me and it helps me push myself harder than I would at home. I do strength and cardio as well. I also plan to go to a dietitian soon to help me clean up my eating habits a little more so I can reach my goals.

What would you do to lose weight whilst maintaining food intake amount?
I mean in a more comfortable way as eating less during weight dropping session means stay hungry the whole time?
-
I workout for cardio fitness and mental health, primarily. So in essence, what i strive to maintain is a toned body/mind.
My weight is basically controlled by what i eat. I don't eat less, i just eat better! Eating less than normal is truly not advised.
It's a circle, really. The better you eat, the more energy you have, the more will you have, the more committed you are to train steadily with immediate results. Also, i barely do light weights, i'm really not into that. I prefer yoga at home and cardio at the gym.

You can't maintain - you have to cut calories in order to lose any significant amount of weight. Exercising will help you burn longer, but your body weight is about 80% what you eat and only about 20% what you do for exercise. What you can do is choose less caloric foods that will keep you full longer. I myself am keto.

Exercising is effective for building lean body mass, which can improve weight loss and overall appearance.
