  • Here's some stats for nerds, not just album sales.

    Savage 1st week Hanteo= 276.8k

    Love Dive 1st week Hanteo= 338.1k

    Savage 1st week Spotify unfiltered= 8m

    Love Dive 1st week Spotify Unfiltered= 11.1m

    Savage 1st week YT MV charts= 19.1m

Love Dive 1st week YT MV charts= Failed to enter(less than 4.3m views)

    Savage 1st week YT streaming charts= 26.1

Love Dive 1st week YT streaming charts= 19.5

Initially Savage did better on K charts hitting number 1 on all platforms and peaking at number 1 on iChart achieving a PAK(12hrs)

Love Dive peaked at number 1 on a single chart, Bugs, and peaked at 3 on iChart, failing to surpass Tomboy and Still Life.

Conclusion. Love Dive did much better on Spotify, Apple Music and had higher Hanteo. Savage significantly outperform on Youtube charts and did marginally better in Korea.

Currently Savage has around 420k on Hanteo.

  • All group see the increasement everytime they make a comeback. Aespa next album sales might goes 400k-500k marks in it first week sales.

"Love Dive" is about to bypass "Savage"s ULs - not really fair to compare to Big Bang when "Savage" would've never achieved any number 1s on charts if they'd released on the same day as Big Bang as well. "Love Dive" is still rising, it's already surpassed "Tomboy" on several charts and its ULs keep going up. In the end I predict it'll do better on Korean charts compared to "Savage".

  • Eggspa still sold more total

And aespa competed with bts lol.

  • Aespa still sell more overall but they beat aespa first week sales and its barely a month yet since they released their album.

Yes, it may. But as of now it isn't performing better on the charts. It's still behind Feel My Rhythm on Melon and Tomboy on Genie. We will see how it does on Gaon next week comparatively to Savage to further determine longevity.

Savage in it's first Gaon update had an index of over 20m compared to 16.3m for Love Dive, so yes so far Savage is performing marginally better.

  • To answer the op. No, it has not. But who give a shit. Savage was 6 months ago. To people who like to compare. aespa comeback is near, go ahead and do that comparison since they will be close.

  • No. IVE hanteo sales is just faster in the first week. But aespa’s sales’ speed on the first week wasn’t that record breaker since it was even slower than multiple izone albums and newer albums like Kipler’s was also faster but eventually all these faster selling albums didn’t surpass aespa’s Savage overall sales.

  • For 1st week sales they did

  • But we still cannot fully believe at starship, they are well known company that do a little dirty job with their artist sales.

  • And you think IVE won't do better next cb? Delusional

Hmm, who gona tell this person that you still trying to compare IVE second physical relase to aespa debut release. Their release is not that far apart. Aespa comeback is near, so compare to that is fair.

See Red velvet Sale? They are approaching 550k on hanteo. Queendom sold 260k vs Savage 430k from the last comebacks for these group. Now, aespa will atleast does 800k on Hanteo. I can guarantee you that.

Ah SM the only company where sales double but nothing else does.

RV still tanking on YT, Apple and Spotify. A joke.

  • For total not yet but they could beat Savage if they keep this pace.

For sure aespa next album sales will shoot up but so will I've and the rest of the physical gg powerhouses, they would need more years to settle who is the top of physicals imo.

  • they can eventually because sm stop producing album fast, sooner or later other ggs will catch up to savage's number.

What the heck ^^ rv is killing it on spotify, sales and charts. The only reason why their youtube views aren’t high is because they don’t use ads, unlike literally EVERY other girl group these days (except for maybe stay c) what a joke you are. Like can you be anymore not in touch with reality

aespa comeback will sell well that's for sure, but so will Ive once they comeback again.

They literally sold 360k in their FIRST WEEK with just a single album. You think they won't sell much more once they get a full album or just a mini, you're deluding yourself.

aespa's first album sales weren't debut sales so it's a fair comparison. aespa's savage sales were 10 months after their debut. ive's current album is 4 months after their debut.

IVE's current album not only is 4 months after debut but also have only 2 songs in it

Savage is 10 month after debut and have 6 songs

Its the time frame hello. Aespa debute album was in october. IVE debut was in December. Now, IVE release their album earlier than aespa in April, and that will match up with aespa comeback in May. Are you gona keep saying wait until next comeback so I can compare to you last comeback? How ridiculous. Who is doing the comparison here? And let me correct you. IVE first week sale was 338k. They are getting 22k into the end of second week, so it's really frontloaded just live Red Velvet recent comeback. Oh, I think everybody can improve, no doubt. Also, it is does not guarantee that album with more songs will sell better than single. Gaining fans over time is the only guarantee. Since these 2 groups released physical are not far apart, then it's a fair comparison.

IVE's current album not only is 4 months after debut but also have only 2 songs in it

It doesn't matter. I could list all the reason why IVE sold that much. Nmixx also debut with 2 songs with 400k, and they destroyed IVE debut sale. So now we start to list duration of idol in kpop for it to be a fair comparison? Hello, we are comparing the groups idol selling power currently, not some comeback 5 to 6 months apart. For instance, if aespa next comeback pass blackpink sale on hanteo which released almost 2 years ago. Are we gona say aespa physical sale is as good as blackpink now? I'll let you answer this question.

they didn't though? NMIXX sold 400k in a cumulative of months, IVE sold almost the same (360k) in just a week... Lol

  • Sm should take class from starship on how to make streams look good. Ive couldn't even enter youtube chart yet reached 50 million streams on youtube. Taking days to reach one million likes on youtube? That what i call a joke.

SM and every other company should take class with Starship on how to make good enough music so their groups can chart well not just on melon but internationally too

But ive is a physical single album release not even a mini album lol

If you are going to play then use all the cards. Not only the ones we're you bias group would win.

Ive wins in Spotify and AM

Aespa wins in physical and domestic charts but in the long run it seems Love Dive will do better than Savage.
