this is an update to this thread: should i use email or real mail
WELL Y'ALL.....
on March 9 (or 10, or 11? IDK lmao) i took the leap and was like "fuck it, i'm sending him a real letter"
that shit was heartfelt, honest, and overall just really nice.
when i sent it out i got anxiety because the student worker looked at me weirdly when he saw who i was sending it to, and for a while i genuinely believed it was possible the dude may have opened it or misplaced or never sent out. but i decided to let that go and just let it be.
a couple of days ago i got a notification on my package tracking app that a package from the person's fanmail zipcode was just shipped out and i'm not gonna lie, i lost my shit (in a good way). because basically when you send him a nice letter, he sends goodies back. i didn't get my hopes up too though.
but my hopes were confirmed today when the USPS guy came to the door and my dogs started barking and i looked down at the fucking package and who it was from....when i tell y'all my dumbass started screaming (not in front of the USPS guy omg can you imagine lmao)
but yeah basically he wrote back and sent goodies and i like my life just a little better now. even if it's similar stuff for everyone, at least he read what i wrote and THAT is what matters. that i got that across.
for some people it took a year for him to reply but for me it took a little less month? my bestie on here thinks it's bc the letter was really nice and i agree.
either way so grateful and today was an amazing day and also fuck cancel culture.
also i should probably post this on the related subreddit but i'm too lazy and people on there are scary💀💀💀
